WATERING & FERTILIZING:
Croton plant varieties require heavy watering as well as high humidity. Misting the plant once or twice a week appears to be sufficient for accommodating the Croton's humidity needs if you live in an area with low humidity levels. Keep the plants soil moist at all times. If leaves begin to fall off or slope downward, you are probably not providing the plant with enough water. If the leaves edges become wilted, this may be an indication that you are over watering the plant. Do not allow plant to sit in water.
LIGHT CONDITIONS/GROWING AREAS:
Bright indoor light or outdoor indirect light is best. Bright light will enhance the color in the foliage.
OPTIMUM SOIL CONDITIONS:
Grow in loose, fibrous potting mix.
Possible pests are mealybugs and red spider mites.
Warm - Prefers 70-75º days and 65-70º nights.
